A reusable food container system
Launching in Wellington, 2019.
Purchase a takeaway meal at any participating shop, and ask for a Reusabowl. Eat, enjoy, and return the container to a nearby collection point to be cleaned and reused. Our containers will be sterilised so they can re-enter the system and live to see another takeaway.
We’re helping enable an eco-friendly circular system, by simply closing the takeaway loop.

We are friends turned Co-Founders, united by our love of food and passion for creating more sustainable choices by which to enjoy it.
Marine Bucher, All things Design & Digital. A Petone-ite by way of Paris, France, Marine started Reusabowl to put an end to plastic pollution and its ill health effects. She has a thing for artichokes.
Sarah Booher, Product Owner, Operations & Marketing. A Lyall Bay local by way of Seattle, USA, Sarah got tired of forgetting her BYO container at lunchtime, and seeing food packaging litter our beautiful city. She has a weakness for curry.
Bobby Lloyd. All things People skills & Partnerships, Product Design & Strategy.
Returning after a decade away, Bobby is a travelled Wellingtonian who is happiest by the ocean. A keen environmentalist, he finds a second use for most things. He's a self-confessed popcorn addict.
Martin White, Reusabowl Advisor.
Martin is Chief Product Officer at emhTrade, a platform for the energy sharing economy by day, and father, sailor, and expert relaxer by night. He has a soft spot for almond croissants and a passion for the outdoors.
