A reusable food container service

Launching in Wellington.

Purchase a takeaway meal at any participating shop, and ask for a Reusabowl. Eat, enjoy, and return the container to a nearby collection point to be cleaned and reused. Our containers will be washed so they can re-enter the system and live to see another takeaway.

We’re helping enable an easy, sustainable choice, by simply closing the takeaway loop.

A Petone-ite by way of Paris, France, Marine started Reusabowl to put an end to plastic pollution and its ill health effects. She has a thing for artichokes.

A Lyall Bay local by way of Seattle, USA, Sarah got tired of forgetting her BYO container at lunchtime, and seeing food packaging litter our beautiful city. She has a weakness for curry.

Our well-travelled Wellingtonian, Bobby, is happiest by the sea. A keen environmentalist, he is passionate about designing systems for people and planet. Bobby always has a creative side project or two on the go. His favourite food is popcorn.
